Zero Discrimination Day started in the year 2014 on March;1st. The United Nations created it with other international organizations to promote equality and fairness before the law to fight systemic and cultural Discrimination against all people with AIDS or HIV.
Nobody wants to suffer; everybody wants to be happy and healthy. As we say, a healthy life can give us a happy life. But unfortunately, we come across some people even without their knowledge; they become the victims and suffer from AIDS or HIV. It is very painful that everyone around them ill-treats these people, and nobody treats them well after knowing about their suffering.
After getting much awareness, there are so many people across the world coming forward to take part in this day activities so that the people can be educated about it and the one who is suffering from HIV or AIDS can lead a peaceful life like others while living with their family in the society.
Zero Discrimination Day is not only meant to help people lead a peaceful personal life, but it is also to remove all kinds of Discrimination that would take place in the workplace. When Zero Discrimination was first started by UNAIDS, on day 30, business leaders pledged to eliminate workplace discrimination.

Zero Discrimination Day India
Zero Discrimination day can be successfully achieved when all individuals come forward and take an oath that they will treat everyone equally and ensure there will not be any discrimination around them. Every country and company also should implement strict rules related to this.
Any employees who do not follow the rules against zero Discrimination should be fined or terminated from the post. In India, we see many people forcefully committing suicide, unable to bear the insults and mistreatment if the society they live in came to know about their suffering from HIV or AIDS.
We also see that in recent times many NGOs are coming forward to bring awareness among people about this Zero Discrimination in India, especially in villages and small towns. The maturity and understanding level of people in villages and cities towards people with HIV and AIDS differs.
They don’t have complete knowledge that this is not a disease that spreads from one person to another by sitting and eating with them or staying in the same place.
Therefore, they isolate the patients suffering from these. Under depression, we see that these people commit suicide. So, we must appreciate and try to take some time and be a part of important events to change our society and make it a better place for people to live.

Speech on Zero Discrimination Day
We can encourage college students and workplace employees to participate in speech-giving activities on the day. Let the one giving the address prepare as it is important for everyone to enjoy the freedom and live with equality. Life is short, and one must enrich and enjoy every moment.
No one has any right to deprive or discriminate against others from enjoying their rights. Most importantly, we should be mature enough to understand the pain these people go through being discriminated. All that they want from us is love and empathy.
These two things would certainly make their life magical, and they would make it more memorable. Let their pain and suffering become less. Let us help them in every possible way to give the true meaning of humanity. Our speech inspire many people to come forward and participate in our Zero Discrimination Day to make a difference in others’ lives.
