Charles Frazier Stanley was born on September 25, 1932, in Dry Fork, Virginia. He began his ministry career in 1952 and went on to serve as the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta for over 50 years. In 1977, Stanley founded In Touch Ministries, which has since become a global Christian media organization that produces TV and radio programs, podcasts, books, and other resources to spread the gospel.
